Howard Franklin    
Howard Franklin is one of Georgia's most sought-after political strategists. He’s led campaigns for Atlanta City Councilmember Kwanza Hall (2005), State Senator Jason Carter (2010) and provided strategic counsel to City of Atlanta, Partnership for a Sustainable Georgia and countless others. His career began when Mayor Maynard Jackson tapped him to lead a nonprofit increasing civic participation among young adults at age 23. He went on to serve Mayor Shirley Franklin, establishing the first online campaign for Atlanta’s $4 billion water and sewer overhaul. Since 2004, Franklin has taught political organizing around the country as an instructor for Wellstone Action. In 2010, he was elected the first male president of the Georgia League of Women Voters, and the first chairman of the African-American Caucus of the Democratic Party of Georgia. He is a graduate of Morehouse College.
 
 
Karl Douglass    
A native of Columbus, Georgia, Karl Douglass has held several high-level positions in business and politics. In 2010, he was active in both federal and municipal elections, helping the Congressman Sanford Bishop raise more than $1.2 million as finance director and win one of the most competitive races in the country. Douglass also served as senior campaign advisor to Mayor Teresa Tomlinson in 2010, helping her become the first female mayor of Columbus. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Aflac, in various leadership roles. He currently serves on Columbus’ Board of Water Commissioners along with the Board of Directors for SunTrust Bank of West Georgia. In 2008, Douglass served as a Regional Political Director for the Obama-Biden campaign. He earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and a master's degree in Education Policy from the University of Georgia.
 
Rahim Rasul    
Rahim Rasul operates at the intersection of cutting-edge digital design and strategy. An eleven-year visual media veteran, he has worked with worked with iconic brands such as Lincoln and AARP to develop their print and online marketing campaigns. As chief creative officer for Influence Factory, Rasul leads interactive campaigns that span email, interactive and social media. He has designed campaign print collateral and websites, and been involved in more than 700 promotional campaigns across more than 30 states. An innovator in flash-animated graphics (a term he coined as 'eFlyers'), Rasul’s projects are known for their visual brand distinction – employing graphics and images that cut through the clutter. Rasul is a graduate of Southwest Texas University, and has lived and worked abroad.
 
 
Carolyn Monden    
Carolyn Monden has served as the constituency liaison in the 4th Congressional District office and in the same capacity for the Mayor Shirley Franklin for nearly a decade. She also worked as chief of staff to State Representatives Stacey Evans and Margaret Kaiser in the 2011 Georgia General Assembly. Monden led minority outreach for State Representative Elena Parent's first campaign, one of only ten state house Democrats nationwide to unseat a Republican incumbent during the 2010 election cycle, due in part to Monden's efforts registering and turning out Latino voters. She serves as Chair of the Latino Caucus of the Democratic Party of Georgia and as board member of the Red Clay Democrats, an organization founded to engage young professionals in democratic politics. Monden earned a degree in communication with a minor in political science from Oglethorpe University.
